The YEP In Schools Initiative
A national, reform based campaign to put an end to the lack of mental health education in schools.
Our work
As current high school students, Vandana Ramanathan and Aadya Pandey, the co-founders behind this nonprofit, consistently noticed the drastic inequalities behind mental health education, despite the past reforms made to educational institutions regarding mental health and how to address it.
This is why YEP is launching a sub-project within the organization: called the Youth Equity Project (YEP) in Schools Initiative. Through this process, we will fight to raise all voices, advocate to leaders in schools, and initiate the fight to have an equitable mental health care system.
